Spring and early fall are very busy with community resource fairs and patient education events. Cancer impacts individuals from ALL communities, so it is imperative that CSCGP have a presence at a variety of events throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Assistance from our volunteers is the only way CSCGP is able to reach numerous audiences. We could not do that without help from our amazing volunteers. THANK YOU

Community Program Hosts: Program hosts assist the CSCGP program team with day-to-day operational tasks, such as greeting guests, answering phones, preparing meals, facilitating/co-facilitating programming, cleaning and setting up rooms for programs. Ideally, hosts are able to commitment on an ongoing basis during set timeframes identified by the program staff. These opportunities are for CSCGP volunteers who have completed the volunteer training and submitted clearances.
Community Ambassadors: Ambassadors represent CSCGP in the community. They are available to help at fundraising events and community fairs. These are single event volunteer opportunities; volunteers need to be familiar with the organization, but PA background clearances are not required.
Company Volunteer Opportunities: CSCGP exists because of the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. From barbecuing lunch for our kids' camp, to painting support group meeting rooms, to helping us spruce up our beautiful campus locations, we have a variety of one-time volunteer opportunities appropriate for larger groups. Tasks: Looking for certified Pilates Instructor to volunteer their services on a weekly recurring basis to teach an hour long class to individuals impacted by cancer. Ideally, this class would be in person with possible hybrid streaming option. Individual must carry liability insurance. - Volunteers needed: individuals with cosmetology experience

Tasks: CSCGP has a Wig Resource Center at Gilda's Club. Volunteers are needed to help individuals select a wig, provide wig care instructions and to keep the area organized. This project is still in development, and we are unclear what exactly this volunteer opportunity will entail. If you have wig/hair care experience and availability during the week, contact Beth to discuss in more detail.

- Receptionist / Administrative Assistance
- Volunteers needed: 1-2 individuals that can commit 2-4 hours weekly
- Location: Gilda's Club
- Time: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am - 4pm

- Satellite Program Assistance
- Volunteer needed: 1 individual that can commit 2-4 hours monthly
- Location: Doylestown Hospital
- Time: 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9:00am -11:30am
- Tasks: Program host at Doylestown Hospital satellite needed to help with front desk, greeting members, answering phones, and completing other various tasks around the office.

- Saturday Programming Assistance, 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month
- Volunteers needed: One to two volunteers to assist staff on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. We are open to either a commitment to both Saturdays, or one or the other, and are ideally looking for someone who can volunteer fairly consistently.
- Location: Ridgeland Mansion
- Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm (sometimes later depending on the program scheduled)
- Tasks may include: assisting the program coordinator with program setup and cleanup, reminder calls to members, greeting and directing members, taking attendance for programs, answering phones as needed, and assisting the program coordinator and any other program facilitator with program needs as they arise.

Other requirements: Lifting needs would possibly include setting up and breaking down 6-8ft tables, moving chairs, and re-arranging furniture as needed for setup. Reliable transportation is a must.

- Tasks: Camp is ending and the kids had A LOT of fun. Every game, craft item and toy have been removed from the closets at some point this summer. In addition, many hands helped in the kitchen. We are need of an organized group to spend a few hours, sorting supplies, re-organizing shelves and conducting an overall deep clean of the Children & Teen space and kitchen.
