Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia (CSCGP) is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, marking three decades of providing support and resources to cancer survivors, their families, and friends. CSCGP has been instrumental in helping individuals navigate the challenges of cancer and offering a sense of community and hope, so that no one faces cancer alone.
To commemorate this milestone, CSCGP organized various events and activities. One of these was "Celebration of Hope," an inspirational and educational event for patients, caregivers, and survivors. The event featured keynote speakers and breakout sessions, providing attendees with valuable insights and information.
Another highlight of the anniversary celebration will be the "Evening in the Park Gala" held at the Suzanne Morgan Center at Ridgeland. This gala, which will take place on October 12, 2023, is a special occasion to honor the achievements of the CSCGP and raise awareness and funds for our ongoing programs.
Overall, Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia's 30th anniversary celebration is a testament to its dedication and impact in supporting those affected by cancer. Through events, resources, and community engagement, we continue to provide hope and assistance to individuals on their cancer journey. Jonathan Marks, Board Member |

Members have been laughing and learning with Dr. Yvonne Kaye for many years. Can you believe she was only 20 years old when she started volunteering! If you see Dr. Kaye during September, please take a moment to thank her for all that she does and to wish her a very happy birthday! |

All of us at CSCGP were saddened to hear about the recent passing of Marion Sands. Marion was the first Volunteer of the Year at our Gilda’s Club location. Marion volunteered three days a week and kept us organized, clean and on top of our mailings and copying. Her contributions were immeasurable, and we are grateful for her many years of service! |
