November is the perfect time to stop and reflect on everything we have to be thankful for. The staff at CSCGP is thankful to work in a wonderful environment that fosters collaboration and support. We are thankful to be part of a community that empower others on their cancer journey. To share in the tears, laughter, setbacks and survivorship of so many individuals.
We will all be busy soon shopping, cooking, wrapping and decorating for the holidays. But right now, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for letting us be part of your lives! Kathy O'Mara Director of Special Events |

| Jeannette and Josh Brockman |
Jeannette Brockman along with her son Josh are keeping the memory of Bob Brockman alive through the Bob Brockman NIA Fund. Every year they make a donation to support the weekly NIA programs offered free to everyone at CSCGP. Bob attended the NIA classes at CSCGP when he was going through his cancer journey. He found that the exercise nourished his body and soul through the opportunity for personal expression. This year CSCGP hosted a NIA Jam and a NIA workshop at the Rejuvenate Ovarian Conference in addition to weekly programs. If you haven't tried NIA yet, register here for our free virtual program.

Being a caregiver can be rewarding, exhausting, uplifting, and frustrating — sometimes on the same day. Knowing how to navigate the experience without losing sight of your wellbeing, is essential. The Cancer Support Community invites you to attend a 4-part webinar series on cancer caregiving. This series will offer practical information and strategies to support you in the different roles you'll take on as a caregiver and how to prioritize your own well-being while caring for a loved one. Are you caring for someone with cancer? At the Cancer Support Community, we are on a mission to improve support for those with cancer, and for those who care for them. Join today

This year Giving Tuesday is on November 29th. You can help by making a donation online at CSCGP.org. For $25 you can provide a meal for a local family attending an evening program at CSCGP. For $50 you can provide a free yoga or mind/body class for a local cancer patient. With a $100 donation, you can provide an hour individual counseling session for a patient or caregiver. A $250 donation pays for one of the CSCGP zoom licenses for year.
Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to give to help! |
Remember to go through the Amazon Smile website and select Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia when holiday shopping this year. Your price is the same either way so why not? |
